This website is operated by Layap Infotech Pvt. Ltd., Gurugram, India. Engagements are contracted with and invoiced by that company.

Prices on the services page are starting points for the scope described alongside them, exclusive of GST and any applicable withholding. They are not an offer. The price that binds either of us is the one written into a signed engagement document, and it can differ once actual scope is known.

Deliverables, timelines, intellectual property, confidentiality, payment schedule and termination are governed by the agreement signed for that engagement. Nothing on this website varies those terms, and if the two ever conflict, the signed agreement wins.

The contact form and the list signup are there so a person can reach me. Use them with your own details and an address you control — not somebody else’s, and not an address you are signing up on their behalf. Both are for genuine enquiries; neither is a channel for unsolicited pitches, and I do not buy anything sold to me through them.

Automated or bulk submissions, and anything unlawful, abusive or deliberately misleading, are not permitted and are blocked where I can detect them. Submitting something does not create a contract, an obligation on me to reply, or any confidentiality — so do not send anything genuinely sensitive through a web form. If a conversation needs to be confidential, say so and we will put an agreement in place first.

Asking for the notes subscribes you to one thing: a mail when I publish a note. There is no schedule, so there is no promised frequency to hold me to, and some months carry nothing. I may stop writing them entirely, in which case the list simply goes quiet.

Reply “stop” to any of those mails and I remove the address. The notes are observations from my own work, not advice about yours — see the warranty section below, which applies to them exactly as it applies to this site.

The writing and design here are mine. You are welcome to quote it with attribution. The three systems linked from this site are separate products with their own terms, and following a link to one means their terms apply there, not these.

Everything here is provided as is. Descriptions of past work are accurate to the best of my knowledge but are not a promise of the same outcome for you — different system, different constraints, different result. Nothing on this page is advice you should act on without applying it to your own situation.

For the website and anything published on it, my liability is limited to what the law does not allow me to exclude. I am not liable for business losses — lost profit, lost revenue, lost data or lost opportunity — arising from something you read here and acted on. This does not limit anything in a signed engagement agreement, which has its own liability terms and governs the work itself.

I update this page when the site changes, and the date in the header is the last time that happened. Changes apply from the date they appear; they do not reach backwards into an engagement already signed.

These terms are governed by the laws of India, with courts at Gurugram, Haryana having jurisdiction.
